Hotel Policies

Welcome to Ocean’s Edge Hotel. We are committed to providing our guests with a comfortable and enjoyable stay. In order to ensure the safety and well-being of our guests, as well as to maintain the high standards of our hotel, we have established the following policies. These policies are designed to provide clear guidelines for our guests, as well as to help us maintain a safe, secure, and pleasant environment for all. Check-In/Check-Out Policies

  • To reserve a room, guests must be 18 years or older
  • with a valid photo ID, such as a driver’s license, passport, or proof-of-age card.
  • The name on the reservation must match the name on the photo ID.

Check-in time:

  • is from 14:00.
  • Early check-in is subject to room availability.
  • If you arrive before 14:00, we request that you check your luggage at the reception and enjoy our restaurant and bar until your room becomes available.

Check-out time

  • is no later than 11:00.
  • Late check-out is subject to room availability.
  • A 50% room rate surcharge will apply for check-outs between 12:00 to 17:00,
  • and a 100% room rate surcharge will apply for check-outs after 17:00
  • Guests may not hand the room over to other persons, even if the night for which they paid the due amount has not elapsed.

Payment Options

  • Upon check-in,
    • we require a valid credit card or debit card and a photo ID of the guest.
    • The card will be authorized for the estimated amount of your entire stay (room, facilities fee plus applicable taxes).
  • We accept U.S., EURO, and XCD Dollars.
    • Cash payment is an option at check-in.

Group Policy
Bookings of five rooms or more are considered a group, and alternative terms and conditions apply to group bookings. Please contact us directly for further details.

Hotel Reservations – Cancellation Policies

  • The cancellation policy for most reservations is 24 hours before arrival.
  • If you need to cancel, please contact the hotel or booking site if applicable.
  • Failure to do so may result in your credit card being charged for the first night of room and tax.
  • Please record the cancellation number you will be given for your own records.
  • All rates are confirmed and will be charged in U.S. Dollars.
  • The cancellation policy is subject to change for special events;
  • please contact the hotel directly or confirm prior to booking.

Smoking Policies

  • Smoking is strictly prohibited in guest rooms and restaurant areas.
  • A minimum cleaning charge of $300.00 will be assessed if smoking is detected in the guest room during your reservation period.

Pet Policy

  • Pets are not permitted on hotel premises.

Visiting Guest Procedure

  • To ensure the comfort and safety of all guests, visiting hotel guests are not allowed in guest rooms without prior notice and approval from the hotel.

Noise Policy

  • Guests must keep noise levels at reasonable levels to avoid disturbing other guests.
  • The use of PA systems and any other amplified sound system that has not been approved by hotel management is strictly prohibited.

Lost Key or Damage

  • The hotel reserves the right to charge guests the cost of lost room keys, damaged locks, or any damage to the hotel’s property or guest rooms caused by the guest or any person in their party during their stay.
  • Guests are liable for any damage caused to the room(s), hotel premises, or property, whether by deliberate, negligent, or reckless acts.
  • Should any damage come to light after the guest’s departure, the hotel reserves the right to contact the guest and make a charge to the guest’s credit/debit card provided.

Occupancy Policy:

  • Each room has a maximum occupancy limit which must not be exceeded. Additional charges may apply if the occupancy limit is exceeded.

Damage Deposit Policy:

  • A damage deposit may be required at check-in, which will be refunded at check-out if no damages or losses have been incurred.

Lost and Found Policy:

  • The hotel is not responsible for lost or stolen items.
  • However, we will make every effort to retrieve lost items and return them to their rightful owner.
  • Unclaimed items will be disposed of after 30 days.

Privacy Policy:

  • The hotel respects the privacy of its guests and will not disclose any personal information without prior consent, except as required by law.
  • Kindly review our privacy policy.

Accessibility Policy:

  • The hotel strives to provide accessibility for all guests, including those with disabilities.
  • Please inform us in advance if you require any special accommodations.

Child Policy:

  • Children under a certain age may stay for free when accompanied by a paying adult.
  • Additional charges may apply for extra bedding and amenities.

Security Policy:

  • The hotel takes security seriously and employs measures to ensure the safety of its guests and their belongings.
  • Guests are responsible for securing their own valuables.

Wi-Fi Policy:

  • The hotel provides complimentary Wi-Fi access to guests, with certain restrictions and limitations.
  • Guests are responsible for using the internet in a lawful and responsible manner.
